Vacation Beers Round Up!

While on vacation earlier this month I got to share quite a few great beers with friends and family!

21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon. This is a watermelon wheat beer that had a surprisingly great watermelon flavor! I've been hearing about this one for months and I finally got to try it since this one never makes it down to Florida.

Next is New Holland's Dragons Milk. We had this before during our Cleveland vacation last summer and was surprised to see it so far south in GA. Dragons Milk is always a treat!

Points Unknown is a Stone collaboration Ecliptic and Wicked Weed. It's a strange blend a barrel aged Belgian Tripel and a double IPA. It's unique and I totally loved it.

Lastly is Serendipity from New Glarus. Cherries, apples, and strawberry flavors oh my! So light and fruity and wonderful. This is just a happy beer that I loved sharing! Thanks to my BFF and her brother for giving this to us last year.

An IPA and a Red Holo

This IPA is from Orange Blossom Brewing which is located in Orlando, FL. You may or may not recognize the name through their flagship beer, OBP (Orange Blossom Pilsner). This IPA was fine. Nothing special but I did notice when I opened the can than it had been canned back in February and was left on the shelf at Total Wine way past its prime. Maybe in the future I'll give it a fresh try.

On my nails is Zoya's Blaze! This is a gorgeous red jelly with holo shards. This is a perfect Zoya polish!

Another Aardwolf Bottle Release!

image.jpg

It's well established that I love and miss my weekly Aardwolf visits now that I'm not in Jacksonville anymore so when I heard that they were releasing another bottle at the end of June, it went straight on the calendar and I made sure I got the day off work!

For this release, they took their El Mariachi stout (cinnamon, vanilla, ancho peppers- spicy stout!) and aged it in brandy barrels. Sometimes I'm a little iffy on how barrel aging changes the beer flavors but this combination added so much more depth of flavor and kicked this beer to the next level.

All in all, we had a great day hanging out with new friends and old and sharing in some really spectacular beers!

On my nails was a neon pink/red that I forgot the name of. I'll look at the bottle when I get home and edit this part out. This color was so bright and distracting! Even my guy friends made a comment about how bright it was!
